Always check the care labels of individual garments. Use environmentally friendly cleaning agents. Please note that none of our garments have been treated with fire retardant agents. Unlike polyesters, natural fibers such as wool and cotton are naturally fire resistant. However for obvious reasons, garments should be kept away from fire.
Machine wash in cold or warm water with environmentally friendly laundry detergent or our Laundry Bar & Stain Remover Soap. Line or tumble dry on low. Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
Please take extra care when washing woollen garments. Always check the washing instructions as some garments like our wool handknits require hand washing, check our how to care for handknits instructions. Machine wash in cold or warm water with environmentally friendly approved liquid wool detergent and spot clean stains with our Laundry Bar & Stain Remover Soap. Line dry or tumble dry on low. Don't bleach me; always use an approved liquid wool detergent.
Do not soak or wash your wool garments using laundry powders. Most laundry powders contain whiteners which act like bleach, even ‘eco-whiteners’ may still bleach your garment creating bleach spots and holes. If the garment is stained use our Stain Soap and gently rub into the affected area before washing. Never soak your merino garments, as this destroys the wool fibres.
As our handknit wool garments have not been treated with anti shrinking and fixing agents they require delicate handwashing. Only gentle handwash in lukewarm water with approved liquid wool detergent. Gently massage your garment. Remove the excess water by rolling garment in a towel. To remove stains spot clean with our Laundry Bar & Stain Remover Soap

Pilling
As our wool has not been treated with a synthetic coating, it may pill.
If pilling occurs, do not despair, this is a natural process where friction causes the short fibers to migrate to the surface. Remove by hand or with a lint comb, for best results remove prior to washing.
Hand or gentle machine wash swimwear at 30C or colder. Do not bleach (this includes chlorine), iron, dry clean or tumble dry. You can squeeze off excess water by hand and dry in the shade. Avoid rough surfaces as well as any sun tan lotions which can damage swimwear fabrics.
